UEPC holds General Assembly, Board of Directors and Joint Committee meetings in Bucharest
UEPC members went to Bucharest on 7 and 8 November for the General Assembly, Board of Directors and Joint Committee meetings.
Michael Ball, professor from the University of Reading in the United Kingdom, gave a presentation on EU Housing Market.Jean-Michel Mangeot, managing director of French Federation, FPI, presented the French Government measures to enhance housing production in France. Finally José Luis Roca Castillo, from the Spanish Federation, APCE, gave an overview of the European Commission’s Economic Paper on the endogenous housing risk in an estimated DSGE model of the Euro Area.
New members to UEPC, the Maltese Developers Association (MDA) and the Norwegian Home Builders' Association, made a presentation about their organisation.
Members were also invited to the Romanian Federation, PSC, international conference on “Global Markets – Business Ethics and Safety” (http://www.psc.ro/en/forum-international-psc-2013/
). UEPC President José Manuel Galindo took part in this conference and presented the Spanish and European perspectives on those issues.
Participants also had the chance to have a guided tour around the city of Bucharest and to have dinner in one of the oldest restaurant in town.
