UEPC-HBF letter to UK Housing Minister in the context of EU Housing Ministers informal meeting 9-10 December
An informal meeting of the EU Housing Ministers is going to take place on December 9 and 10 in Brussels. It will focus on ‘The sustainable financing of housing policies in times of crisis.’
In the context of the above-mentioned event, UEPC together with HBF (the Home Builders Federation - UK) decided to send a letter to Mr Kris Hopkins, Minister in charge of Housing in the UK. In the letter UEPC stressed the fact that no association representing the private sector has been invited to the EU Housing Ministers informal meeting. We also drew his attention to some UEPC proposals: reference to ‘UEPC Roadmap towards affordable housing policies in the EU’ and the necessity to lower red tape burden.
UEPC is also working together with EHF to finalise a common position to be sent to the EU Housing Ministers.
